Reform talk

‘Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you – guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.’ (2 Timothy 1:14)

On 31st October 1517 (500 years ago), Reformer Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the Wittenberg Church in Germany. This was a hugely significant moment in the Protestant reformation. The Theses sought to direct people back to the perfect, infallible Word of God and away from church tradition and man-made doctrines.

On 30th October 2017, a special event will take place at the church during which the Rev. Andrew Davies will give a talk on 500 years of reformation.

In addition to the talk, during the month of October there will be a sermon on each of the 5 Sunday evenings designed to show us what the Bible has to say about the 5 Solas (teachings) that came out of the reformation. All are welcome.
